No Coast Craft-o-Rama

I just applied to get into the No Coast Craft-o-Rama craft fair that is held here in Minneapolis every December. Here are the pics I sent in. Soon these items will be available on etsy!

headband frenzy

I have been busily creating these headbands to sell on etsy. I love them! They are just the right addition to any outfit. I cover them with vintage fabric, finish the interior edges with ribbon, and add my signature hand made fabric flowers. I'm hoping to get into the No Coast Craft-O-Rama here in Minneapolis. I'm sending in my application this weekend. Wish me luck!

my kids

Look at these two. They are so precious.
I couldn't pass up this photo op. To think they couldn't tolerate each other for the fist 6 months.

jill & brandon wedding invitations

I am currently wrapping up wedding invitations for my dearest friend from high school, Jill, and her fiance, Brandon. An earlier post on my blog I shared the inspiration board options I gave them. They chose Modern Romance, so here is my interpretation. I am almost finished assembling. I think they turned out really well, and can't wait for her to distribute!

fabric flowers

When I have a free moment I try to work on my fabric flowers for my Honey Lane Etsy shop. I plan to make pins, hats, scarves, headbands, etc...accessories made from scratch, as my slogan says. Here is a close up of a few that I got started during the rainy days while I was on vacation.

what a ham

my nephew while we were on vacation last month at a lake house in McGregor, MN. My husband made him this lil' paper hat, and he somehow knew he was on display.

new office/studio

A few weeks ago i moved my office/studio up from the basement. It was a room shuffle, and a lot of work. We had to move my husband's office/studio where mine used to be, move the guest bedroom down to his old space, and then move my stuff up to the old guest bedroom. whew! I haven't finished decorating or organizing, but it's getting there. I'm really excited about what I'll accomplish in my new space. Especially since I can have my little Lola bear next to me on her bed. Happy Monday everyone!
