tote for mom
For christmas, I made my mom a tote. Of course, at the 11th hour I ran out of thread before I was going to head home and give it to her. I finally finished it a few months back and brought it home to her for easter. She loved it! She's really into grey, white and yellow color combinations right now, so I knew she would be into it. I love coming up with my own designs, figuring out the pocketing etc... The bag is a grey twill with a cotton sheeting floral patterned liner and details. I got the yellow floral print on a blanket from a thrift store. I love finding vintage fabrics at thrift stores. It's like finding treasure!

vaughn
So, I bought a new camera to take pictures of the products I design/create in order to sell them on etsy. All I've ended up doing is taking picture of my adorable nephew Vaughn. Here he is on Easter Sunday in my grandma's flower bed with the bluebells that bloom there every year. It reminds me of my childhood and the easter eggs I used to find in that same exact flower bed.
