visualizing data
visualizing data is a hard task, and I'm on it! I started a user experience & planning internship and have been doing some research on information design and visualizing data. Check out some of the cool charts, graphs etc...that I've found around the net. Sorry I didn't document sources, as many of these were googled. :)

vintage love
vintage love by honeylane featuring owl earrings
This is the outfit I would put together to exemplify my fossil "vintage" style. The pieces coordinate to create an eclectic, cozy, holiday feel.

redesigning the classics
Check out these beautiful covers designed by Coralie Bickford-Smith. She re-designed all the classics for Penguin books a few years back, and I've just discovered them. The patterns and color combinations are really beautiful. Here is her site { www.cb-smith.com/ } or can be purchased here are penguin { www.penguin.com }

new bags & exciting news!
Hi everyone, great news! My products are going to be in a small consignment store, {The Crafter's Cottage}out in Wayzata, MN! If you're in need for some cold weather gear, one of my scarves, hats or earwarmers would be perfect. I will also be producing more bags. Pictured here is my large tote, the Esther Tote, and my brand new silhouette, the Carla Crossbody. All the products in my line, Honey Lane, are named after women in my family. Just as Honey Lane is the name of the street I grew up on, and my parents still live today. :) The holidays are right around the corner as well, and any of my items would make great gifts. Just sayin.

maija fiebig
Here is an artist I really love. Her paintings are so beautiful. I admire how she incorporates texture, ornate patterns, yet still creates negative space that calms. If you have a moment check out her stunning work {www.maijafiebig.com}
